Iliza always has an informed opinion about not only first world experiences, but what events are happening in the world. Her jokes are relatable (mostly to women, and mostly to those in their 20-30's). She is very smart, quick witted, and self-aware. I have seen her twice, each show incredibly funny and entertaining. Her opener, Hunter Hill, is great as well. I have watched her Netflix specials many times and they always make me laugh. Iliza is AMAZING and I highly recommend her show!

DRUNKS TAINT SHOW
Show was entertaining, including the opener,
but the drunks were distracting and took away
from our full enjoyment.
We felt that Ms. Shlesinger’s current Netflix
special was more articulate and relatable. I
usually love her story-telling but perhaps the
obnoxious and half-conscious patrons tainted
it for me- why are allowed to ruin it for rest of
us?

BOOBS AND PREGNANCY
Lived Eliza back in the day and on Last Comic Standing, not as much these days. When half of your show consists of talk about boobs and pregnancy, it is time to diversity. Physical comedy and doing weird poses aren’t funny if the material doesn’t cut it. I couldn’t believe part of her show included riffs on homelessness and tents. To me there is no humor to be had in those subjects as it hits waaaay too personal and it ain’t funny.

FUNNY BUT DATED
The show was fun, but there was a distinct feeling of it being phoned in. If you are going to take the money from doing a special for netflix you cant tour 6 months later and use 75% of the same material...everyone in the audience has not only heard it, they heard it pretty recently.

VERY SHORT AND NOT THAT FUNNY
Saw the Netflix special, she was good. Her show in Toronto was very boring and felt like she cut it short at just 70 minutes. Paid way too much for that.

NOT RELATABLE TO MEN
Almost all her stories and jokes were targeted for women. My wife thought she was really funny. Several of the women around me laughed a lot. I was not impressed. The two openers were so much funnier. Her voices and impressions were incoherent. Several of her topics were serious and political. It just wasn’t for me.

ELIZA SLEZENGER’S OCTOBER 15 PERFORMANCE MAROGE THEATER
Very disappointed she just did a recap of her 2022 Netflix performance if I had known that I never would’ve bought the tickets

DISAPPOINTED
I had seenIliza before and was excited for a fun evening only to have it e d in utter disappointment. Where was the millennial show that was promised and paid for. All I got to hear about for seventy five minutes was about how abhorrent the traditions of a traditional wedding are in the most boring way possible.
Not funny and certainly not entertaining. I wanted the show I paid for.

SOCIAL MEDIA
Saw the show on 24 June 2021 in Huntsville, AL. Very disappointed. She spoke for over an hour about social media. This is fine for the millennials, but for us older folks there was nothing interesting or funny about any of it. Her microphone was turned up to loud so some of her performance her voice was not understandable. She also had to keep looking at notes, which if you have been out of the business during the past year, could you not remember your routine. You had a whole year to figure it out. Don't waste your money.

PREACHY, SLOW AND UNFUNNY
Last night in Nashville, we attended this two hour feminism lecture. There were a few funny moments but honestly not many. The two beginning acts were better. Iliza is brilliant and incredibly funny when she is introspective and self aware. Last night was not that. It was politically preachy with unfunny rants on abortion, vaccines, guns, etc. with what felt like hours spent on boobs and feminism. The act just felt like an extremely slow moving, political lecture that lacked original insight or much humor. Political humor can be really funny but you have to be well informed enough to find the nuance. She was clearly not in her wheelhouse but didn’t seem to recognize it. The Nashville crowd, as always, was polite and laughed and cheered at the right times. However, the line outside for taxis was long well before her set finished. Iliza is one of the very best when she is at her best. I hope she has honest people around her to help her get it back on track the next time.
