STEVE MILLER BAND

One of the best nights of my entire life. Daughter & best friend had a fing blast

EXCELLENT NIGHT

We got a lesson , not only in R&R but the Blues, too! Amazing what these Godfathers of Rock can still do on stage, both musically and vocally. I am in awe of people like this that still have what it takes after 50 years! My only negative about the whole thing, was that the crowd was not very energetic. Maybe it was the age of the crowd, but there were people of all ages there, so I would of expected more energy and noise out of us. Otherwise, another one I'll always remember.

GREAT MUSIC IN AN INTIMATE ENVIRONMENT

Loved the entire show. These are two dedicated musicians with strong, tight bands. I loved hearing the old hits -of course, but the blues numbers were exceptionally thrilling! Keep touring! With the Greek Theatre being so intimate it's all about the music. Left with a natural high feeling and love/hope in my heart. Music heals.

SPECTACULAR CONCERT EXPERIENCE

If listening to Peter Frampton and Steve Miller live on stage doesn't get you in a happy mood, nothing will. The just-right sized Allen Event Center was an ideal venue to hear these two guitar playing icons. Hit after hit kept coming, reminding us that the talent these two men possess is mind-boggling. And their voices? Silky smooth and just as you remembered them. Each band supporting the artists were tight and showed they are masters of their craft. It didn't take long for the crowd to get into singing along throughout the Peter Frampton set and by the time Steve Miller's set opened, there was a lot of robust singing coming from the stands, myself included. (And, I never sing in public based on requests from my family that I refrain due to having no pitch. But, I simply-could-not- help-myself). After this 3-hour-plus show ended, our group could not help but rave with excitement about the entertaining, blast of fun we had just experienced.

GREAT TIME, GREAT CONCERT!

We saw this concert last night at Parx Casino's Excite center in Bensalem, PA. We mainly went to see Peter Frampton, and he did not disappoint. His concert was excellent. His voice still works, and his guitar playing is amazing! Loved his stories and he had us laughing a lot. Steve Miller's set was also excellent. It was a very pleasant surprise for us, and we totally loved when Frampton came out and they played together. Totally enjoyed the stories of all the other musicians they have played with. Both bands were also wonderful. It was a great time! The only negative thing were some rude people in the audience and their cell phones. They were filming parts of the concert, holding their phones above their own heads and totally blocking the view of the people behind them. Put your phone away and enjoy the experience of the concert!

GREAT NIGHT

These guys put on a show...engaged the crowd...gave some lessons on how to play guitars...a very very good show

FANTASTIC MUSIC

Rarely you see a concert where the back up band is as good as the main band. Both groups played better then we expected, the sound is still there. Great view from the floor seats.

PETER FRAMPTON WAS GREAT, STEVE MILLER WAS OKAY

Loved Peters interaction and endearment to the crowd, Steve still sounds great but he didn’t capture the audience until the end

MOSTLY AGREE WITH DOLERES FROM ALBERTA

It's cool to see these radio staples played by the actual Rock prodigies that invented them. The shows are lacking in some testosterone. Showing live concert footage from the heyday probably a good idea, and bringing in some younger talent to jump around the stage a little bit. The pianos solos were a bit slappy and should be cut in half. Eagles seemed to have a better formula. Walsh missed some notes but he still brought an element of rock rawness and energy to the stage.

ICONIC GUITAR GODS

Simply amazing! For me it was 40 years between seeing Peter in 77 for my first concert. But crisp clean sound is what I came for and received!

STEVE MILLER/ FRAMPTON

The other review mentioned the crowd wasn't energetic but really the music and tempo they choose when they played was very slow and highly instrumental. Classic icons, yes. Sleeper elevator music effect due to their strong egos and long guitar solos and speeches, also a big yes. They could pick up the light show and put a screen up or something to make it more interesting for future audiences. Maybe some footage from the past. We know they have the money to really put on a great show not a mediocre one, so step up old-timers.

STEVE MILLER GREAT FRAMPTON NOT

Peter Frampton’s music was an hour and a half of torture to listen to. Too loud and too monotonous and lightss were disturbing. i was so relieved when Steve Miller came out with his band and played his music. I would not pay to sit through Peter Frampton again even to hear Steve Miller play eventually.

WAS OK IF YOU LIKE THAT SORT OF MUSIC

I just went with a friend that wanted to go. Not real crazy about both of them.. but the sound was bad.just sounded like a bunch of noise. I listened to Steve Miller band when I was young.. he murdered some of his best songs. lighting was bad.. they blinded you about every 20 seconds.. the show really needs some work.

SAD CONCERT

So disappointed in both performers. They played songs that were not recognizable to the crowd, way too much talking and instrumentals. Had hoped for a flashback to my youth and good ole days with the hits I grew up with but, unfortunately this was not to be. Sat in the cold and rain for hours hoping to hear the music I envisioned would be played. If there was an option for zero stars, that’s what I would give...

EGOS OUT OF CONTTOL

I couldn’t agree more with Curt G! So dissappoined. I came from NY to hear the show I saw at the Beacon Theater they played 2 years ago and got stuck listening to this bored performer show me how good he is on too long jam sessions and blues music. I came to hear his upbeat music that makes me feel young again and was forced to hear what SM thinks I should listen to. Looks like he took the money and ran.

MY WIFE FELL ASLEEP

We came all the way from Denmark. .not just to watch this but we had great expectations. The sound in The Grand Ole Opry was great. But the musicians never got the audience with them. It was like a "see I can still do it" opposed to bring the song's across. The entertainer gene was missing

1.0 star rating Curt G from Edmonton, Alberta

SO DISAPPOINTED

People pay good money to hear a band play all their hit songs and believe me they have some amazing stuff. I am not a Peter frampton fan but I appreciated his set better than the Steve miller band. SM is the only concert I have been to that started with a crappy song. After playing a couple of hits and getting the crowd having fun he brought PF back out. Sure let's have him play on a few hit songs. Nope. They played 3 blues songs that put everyone to sleep. Ok now let's play those hits. Nope. They played a bunch of crap nobody paid money to hear. I can tell you that they were all amazing musicians but if you have been around for more than 50 years you should know what songs people want to hear and how to entertain a crowd. So disappointed.
